We all know Roy Keane has a temper & he's not afraid to tell you what he thinks, however with the international break now over & the return of the Premier League back this weekend, is the Irishman in danger of potentially dropping out of football altogether if he was to lose his assistant roles at Aston Villa & the Irish national squad because of his antics, would he ever be taken serious to be offered a Premier League manager's job in the future?

We all know the controversy with Keane's autobiography has caused a few weeks back but he hasn't helped matters the past ten days or so with three incidents, first there was a fan who asked the Irishman for a signature to be signed on his book, after a small altercation, it's reported Keane pushed the fan over & the fan threatened legal action if Keane doesn't apologise, whether this incident was provoked by the fan or the former Manchester United player, it started a chain of events. During the Irish's crucial Euro Qualifier against the Scots, which they lost, Keane was confronted by referee Milorad Mazic to calm down after a foul went against the Irish or potentially be sent off, Keane listened & remained tight lipped. Finally after the Irish players went home after the international break, Keane accused Everton manager Roberto Martinez of pressuring Irish players (Everton have four) to pull out of international games & play on the fact they have injuries, notably Seamus Coleman & James McCarthy, however the Toffees boss described this accusation as 'nonsense' by the Irishman.
During previous incidents in the past & recent events both Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert & Ireland boss Martin O'Neil have stuck by Keane & defended him, but how long will they both keep protecting him & will the Villa board lose faith, will the IFA continue to support Keane?
Time will tell.
