Rory McIlroy was in attendance for the Philadelphia Eagles game on Sunday where he hung out with Justin Verlander, Mike Trout, and team owner Jeffrey Lurie. To say the least, that's a solid crew to be spotted with on the sidelines, especially when you're wearing what Rory was.

Does this mean he's making a run at filling that highly-sought after (possibly non-existent) fifth spot in the Golf Boys? By the looks of it, that could be the case. Hunter Mahan got his gig in the group with his fur coat, and maybe the No. 1 player in the world will, too.

If McIlroy is vying for that coveted spot in the "band," he'll have to beat out a guy who's way bigger than him: Denver Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller.
Miller was spotted wearing a fox hat in the locker room following the Broncos' victory on Sunday, and although it can't be confirmed, the hat may or may not have come from Ben Crane's closet.
I was happy to loan Von Miller my hat, but I'm gonna need it back in case we do another Golf Boys. pic.twitter.com/X1Z3NoY1m8

How does this sound: Golf Boys - 3.Oh featuring Von Miller and Rory McIlroy. Yeah, I like it too. That's as long as McIlroy doesn't have to give Joe Namath ... err Hunter Mahan his coat back.

Tiger Woods Shares Praise For Lindsey Vonn's Performance
It's hard to go out and win the first event after recovering from an injury. It takes time to return to form and to the top of your game. Both Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn returned to competition in their respective sports this past weekend after substantial injuries, and although Woods didn't come away with a victory, Vonn did.
Vonn and the American team went out and won the World Cup event in Canada on Saturday -- her first in nearly two years. She made an incredibly difficult comeback look seamless in a dangerous and challenging sport.

Woods was, of course, impressed by her performance, and shared his thoughts after his round at the Hero World Challenge on Sunday.
“It’s a lot of hard work. You have to understand she really hadn’t skied that competitively in two years. So to be able to get into a position where she felt comfortable to push the physical limits, absolute limits - because that’s what [you] have to do in order to win in her sport - and to be table take those chances and take this risks without having her knee blow out on her is pretty cool.
“I’m not going to die in my sport," Woods continued. "You know, what they do and the surfaces they’re on, injected snow, it’s just scary how fast it is and how dangerous and how much focus you have to bring to the table."

Two Golfers Pull Off Water Shots With Ease

It's always tempting to kick off the shoes, roll up the pants, and hit your submerged ball out of the hazard. Not only does it save you a stroke, but it's legendary if you pull it off. Hitting water shots became even more enticing after Bill Haas did it at the Tour Championship a few years ago and stuck it to within a foot to win that $10 million purse.
It can't be that hard, can it? Well, on Monday we came across not one, but two incredible water shots executed to near-perfection.
Here's the first, which was nearly holed.
And the second was no bargain either.

Ray Allen is widely considered one of the best shooters of all time and has made more 3-pointers than anyone in NBA history. It's a record that will probably never be broken and with his two NBA titles, Allen is likely headed to the Hall of Fame. When he's not on the court draining 3's, though, he's out on the course sinking putts. Read More

Out of Bounds
This is by far the best way to get out of a speeding ticket, and it doesn't even break any laws -- except for maybe the laws of physics. Magician Steven Brundage was pulled over for doing 42 mph in a 30 mph zone after heading home from a New York holiday party.
To get out of the ticket, Brundage pulled off something so ridiculous that the officer had to let him go.
I will now go throw a Rubik's Cube in the air with the hope that it will land in my hand completed. Wish me luck.
